Welcome!
Welcome to my new and improved website
I’m going to be posting on my blog letting you know what I’ve been getting up to, the products I’m loving and sharing with you my tips and tricks from the trade.
This week’s post is about my two must have products for your make-up kit.
MAC Studio Fix Fluid
MAC Studio Fix Fluid is perfect for those who love a decent coverage and a matte finish. It comes in a range of shades to get your perfect skin match and I love it’s versatility. It’s an amazing product for my make-up kit because it saves me having to bring loads of different foundations.
You can mix MAC Studio Fix Fluid with other skincare products for sheering out the coverage and changing the finish without the need to buy another foundation.
The tip that most of my clients use, is mixing it with MAC Essential Oils for glowy skin that lasts for hours! You can also mix it with MAC Strobe Cream for a glow from within.
I’m not suggesting this foundation will work for everyone, it is important to get the right foundation that best suits your skin type. And, if you have dry skin but want a full coverage matte finish. I recommend prepping your skin well first with skincare and primers aimed at dry skin.
Pro Tip: prep is key with any foundation in order to create your perfect look.
You wouldn’t go straight in with wallpaper or paint when decorating your walls at home and it’s the same with your skin. However, I will go into more detail on this in my next post on how to achieve a perfect base.
MAC Studio Finish Concealer
This concealer has serious coverage, it can even cover up tattoos! In fact, not only do I love this product for covering up blemishes and those pesky dark circles, it’s also amazing for creating sharp and clean lines.
I like to use it on a small flat brush such as MAC 242 to sharpen up brows and lips. And, if you have made a mistake with your liner. You can use it underneath your wing for a crisp smooth line.
Pro Tip: mix a few sprays of MAC Fix+ with MAC Studio Finish Concealer for a creamy, hydrated look underneath the eye.
That’s all for this blog post guys, thanks for reading! And, don’t forget to come back for more top tips, how-to’s and product reviews.
